De Vondel kraakgoed is een gekraakt huizenblok aan de Ruysdaelstraat nummers 77-89 in Amsterdam (De Pijp). De panden zijn eigendom van Vondel Vastgoed.
Vondel Vastgoed wil de panden slopen om er 8 verdiepingen hoge nieuwbouw voor terug te plaatsen, met een parkeergarage eronder. Meteen na de respectievelijke aankopen heeft Vondel Vastgoed haar beproefde tactiek ingezet: het lastig vallen en onder druk zetten van haar huurders met als doel dat ze zo snel mogelijk vertrekken. Om dit kracht bij te zetten heeft Vondel Vastgoed vorige zomer onder andere de etages die ze leeg hebben gekregen alvast gedeeltelijk gesloopt; ramen en kozijnen werden vernield en WC-potten werden kapot geslagen, keukens zijn vernield, electrische leidingen hingen open en bloot terwijl deze niet waren afgesloten, etcetera. Een afvaardiging van de commissie Wonen van stadsdeel Oud-Zuid heeft dit tijdens een huiszoeking een jaar voor de kraak, met eigen ogen geconstateerd.
Vondel Vastgoed is een projectontwikkelaar die weinig op heeft met haar huurders, in bijna alle verhuurde panden die zij aankopen krijgen de huurders te maken met meerdere rechtzaken. Ook hier in de Ruysdaelstraat lopen nog enkele rechtzaken tegen de laatste bewoners. Maar ook als deze huurders gaan verhuizen kan Vondel nog niet beginnen met de sloop; er zijn nog geen definitieve bouwvergunningen verleend. Zo is onder andere de welstandscommissie nog absoluut niet akkoord met de huidige bouwtekeningen. Al met al genoeg reden voor ons om de lege woningen weer in gebruik te nemen.
Wij roepen Vondel Vastgoed, eigendom van een NV op de Nederlandse Antillen, op om de panden niet te slopen maar te herstellen dmv een grondige renovatie. Tevens roepen wij Vondel op om de procedures tegen de huurders te staken en hun huurbescherming te respecteren.
Wij roepen het stadsdeelbestuur op om de aangevraagde sloop- en bouwvergunningen niet te verlenen. In Oud-Zuid zijn al meer dan genoeg dure, grote appartementen maar staat de voorraad betaalbare huurwoningen onder zware druk. Zo is minister Dekker van VROM druk bezig om nog meer woningen in de huursector te liberaliseren. Voor Oud-Zuid heeft dat dramatische gevolgen; over enkele jaren zullen de betaalbare woningen bijna niet meer bestaan in deze wijk. Laten we niet wachten tot het te laat is: voor de broodnodige differentiering van de woningvoorraad zullen wij alvast beginnen de Ruysdaelstraat 77-89 om te vormen tot goedkope woonruimte!
Zolang Vondel doorgaat met haar Plannen die zij hier willen realiseren zullen wij de panden blijvenbewonen en bezet houden.

RUYSDAELSQUAT 77 T/M 89 – AM*DAM OUD ZUID – since 27th of Februari squatted
The Vondel Vastgoed is a squatted houseblock on the Ruysdaelstraat numbers 77 till 89 in Amsterdam(De pijp). The houses belong to Vondel Vastgoed.
Vondel Vastgoed wants to demolish the houses, to build an eight story high flat with a parking lot underneath it back. From the very first minute the houseblock came in to possession of Vondel Vastgoed, they did a tactic what worked in the past: Annoy and building up pressure to the renters of the houseblock so that they leave as soon as possible.
To empower this tactic Vondel Vastgoed demolished the inside of all the abandoned apartments witch where already empty. They broke down: Kitchens,Toilets, Electric wires, Gas pipes, even complete floors, except for the support beams. They even cut the wires when the water and electricity was not disconnected from it.
An employer of the city council saw this with his own eyes an year before the squatting action.
Vondel Vastgoed is a project developer witch has nothing good up with their renters, nearly all the renters of the bought buildings got involved in multiable court cases to evict them. On this very moment some court cases are still in progress.
But even if all the renters moved out, Vondel Vastgoed can’t begin with the demolition of the buildings, there building plans are still not finished and the city council refused to give the permits, because they don’t agree with the building plans. For us all these arguments where enough reasons to fill up the empty spaces once again.
We demand Vondel Vastgoed, witch belongs to a company in the Dutch Antilles, not to demolish the building, but for complete renovation. We demand that Vondel Vastgoed stops the court cases against the renters and to respect the rights of the renters.
We demand the city council not to give the permits to Vondel Vastgoed. In Old South there are enough expensive, luxury apartments, but not affordable rent able houses. The amount of affordable houses are under heaps of pressure. The minister Dekker of VROM wants to privatise even more houses in the rent sector.
For old south this had dramatic consequents; Over just a few year nearly every house would be to expensive or privatised. Let’s not wait till it’s to late! For make up the balance once again, we expropriated the houses and we’ll try to reform them to cheap renting houses!
As long if Vondel Vastgoed continues with their plans. We’ll live and occupy the houseblock without any comprise towards Vondel Vastgoed.
